Mullein/ Verbascum Thaspus I love this plant. Its very powerful antiviral, antibacterial and anti microbial properties. It can be smoked, to clear lungs and help with asthma, (ask a Doctor)  Drank when brewed like a tea,  Or Mullein can be used as a poultice to help heal skin. Witches used this plant to make torches by dipping in tallow,  or smudges and burn for protection and to clean out negative energy. Mullein has over 200 species and is a monocaric perennial, meaning it will live two years and then die. These plants are easy to find because they are fuzzy!

Lemon Balm / Melissa Officinalis    I love this plant. Its a part of the mint family and is cold hardy.  It smells very strong like lemons, perfect to add to any herbal tea blend. Lemon Balm has nutrients like vitamin c and B and plenty antioxidants. I personally drink this tea to help with anxiety and depression. It can be used to slow bacterial growth and help heal cold sores.  Lemon Balm is a witches dream herb as it is used for healing,  growth and grief. As for gardeners who want this herb in their yard, Good news!, Lemon Balm repels mosquitoes!

One of his rituals  was to run outside and find a flower for me, just for me. It was different every time and this is how I  discovered the true beauty, amazing fragrance and tastes of the plants around me.     In this blog I plan on taking note of the uses for my favorite plants and also practical recipes I would love to share them with the world. This post I will talk about one of my favorite plants that is the best addition to all herbal tea blends! ( in my opinion.) : ) The amazing plant is .... white clover! Trifol...
